The worldbuilding app for novelists, game masters & worldbuilders

Every world deserves a keeper of its lore.

Lorealise is a story bible that grows with your world. Draft characters, places, and lore in one linked wiki, build alongside your co-authors and Lorelai, keep a canon that never contradicts itself, and publish a public wiki when the world is ready.

Free to begin — no card required.

What you can do

One home for your whole world.

Structure

Build any world

Characters, places, lore, maps, notes, timelines — give every corner of your world a home, and link them with inline references so one entry always points to the next.

Lorelai

A lorekeeper at your side

Lorelai reads your world and lends a hand: suggesting edits, proposing whole new entries, and answering questions about your canon — grounded in what you have already written, never invented over it.

Continuity

Keep your canon honest

Every change is versioned and reversible. Set world rules your lore must obey, follow an activity feed of what changed, and return to any earlier draft whenever you need it.

Atlas

Maps with living layers

Stack overlays on any map — borders, routes, regions — then toggle, reorder, and fade them. Readers get the same controls to explore your geography their own way.

Publish

Share a public wiki

When a world is ready, freeze a version and publish it as a public wiki anyone can browse — a tidy, shareable home for your setting, without exposing your working drafts.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

What is Lorealise?

Lorealise is a collaborative worldbuilding app and story bible. Keep your characters, places, factions, maps, timelines, and lore in one linked wiki, write it with your co-authors, and publish it as a public wiki when you are ready.

Who is Lorealise for?

Novelists and series writers, game masters running tabletop campaigns, game and screen writers — anyone whose story lives in a world big enough that keeping its canon straight takes real work.

Is Lorealise free?

Yes. The Explorer plan is free forever, with one workspace, two worlds, three collaborators, a public wiki, and monthly Lorelai credits. Builder is $9 a month for unlimited worlds, more storage, and more Lorelai credits. No card is needed to start.

What is Lorelai?

Lorelai is the lorekeeper built into Lorealise. It suggests edits, drafts new entries, answers questions about your world, and points out contradictions — always grounded in what you have already written. Nothing changes until you accept it.

Can I publish my world as a website?

Yes. Publish a world as a free public wiki on worlds.lorealise.com and choose exactly which entries appear. Secret fields keep game-master notes and twists off the public pages, and you can list your world in the public directory so readers can find it.

Can I work on a world with other people?

Yes. Invite co-authors with view, comment, or edit access. You draft together in real time, leave comments and suggested edits, and every published change is versioned so you can always go back.

Can I export my world?

Yes. Export a single world or your whole account at any time — your lore is always yours.
