This policy explains what Lorealise collects, why we collect it, and the choices you hold over your own record. We ask for as little as the craft requires, and we never sell what you trust us with.
Account details you give us: your pen name, handle, email, and — if you choose — a portrait and tagline.
The content you create: characters, places, lore, notes, versions, and the prompts you send to Lorelai. Plus the ordinary technical records — device, browser, and usage events — that any web service needs to run and stay secure.
To provide the service: to store and display your worlds, sync your collaborators, and remember your preferences.
To power Lorelai’s suggestions, to keep accounts secure, to answer your questions, to handle billing, and to understand — in aggregate — how the tools are used so we can improve them.
When you ask Lorelai for help, the relevant content and your prompt are sent to our model providers to generate a response, then returned to you. This processing is transient — it happens to answer your request.
We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train third-party public models without your consent.
Service providers and subprocessors who host our infrastructure, process payments, or power Lorelai — each bound to handle your data only on our instructions.
Collaborators you invite, who see the content within your shared workspaces. And, rarely, authorities where the law genuinely requires it. We never sell your personal data.
We keep your content for as long as your account is open. When you delete an item or close your account, we remove it from active systems and purge it from backups on our ordinary cycle.
Some records — such as billing history — may be retained where the law requires.
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. Most of this lives right here in Account settings; for the rest, write to us.
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing. We will not penalise you for exercising these rights.
We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls, and routine review. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours among the safest, and we will notify you of a breach as required by law.
Lorealise may process and store data in countries other than your own. Where we transfer data across borders, we use safeguards that the law recognises to keep your protections intact.
We may update this policy as the service evolves; material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Questions, requests, or concerns about your data are always welcome.
